Players age divisions are determined by the start date of the event. (July 17th, 2012) Players may request to play up in age division. 

Play will be governed by the 2010-2011 USGA Rules of Golf and its Decisions and, where applicable, by the following local rules, Conditions, and Definitions, subject to changes or amendments by the World Masters Rules Committee.

DISQUALIFICATION
This Tournament is unique in the sense that players are coming from all over the world to participate.  The Tournament Rules Committee decisions will try to avoid disqualifications for any violations of the Rules of Golf.  Instead, the player may be assessed a severe stroke penalty (4)  on any hole where the infraction would normally lead to disqualification. (every situation will be evaluated)  

YOUNGER AGE BRACKETS
Age divisions 10 and under will have a 10 shot rule.  Once a 10 as been reached, a player must pick up and wait for the other players in the group to complete the hole.

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES
Are permitted for measuring distances ONLY.  All other electronic devices such as cell phones, headphones, pagers and the like may not be used during play.

DRESS CODE
Players and caddies must wear acceptable golf attire.

SPECTATOR POLICY
Spectator may rent a cart at the discretion of the golf course but must remain on the cart path at all times.  Walking spectators must stay on the cart path or the rough at all times.  Spectator may not give players advice during the round.  Spectator may not use any electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers, etc.

CODE OF CONDUCT
This world class event will not accept, abusive language, club throwing, cheating, disrespect of volunteers or officials, abuse to the course or facility, or any other conduct unbecoming of a player.

NO CUT
All  players will qualify for day 3.

TIES
Ties for 1st place will be broken with a sudden death playoff.  All other ties will be determined by a card off starting from the last hole played and going back until a winner is determined.
